i bought this scooter last year for the purpose of car camping, as i have a bad leg. i recently camped at Natural Chimneys Park, VA, and was the envy of the entire campground with my scooter. there were so many people asking me about it, i probably could have sold 100 scooters that weekend! i would charge it overnight and the battery lasted dawn til dusk on that “rugged” terrain. chris at super cycles is a great guy to deal with too.

I’ve had my ST 1000 for the last 2 months, and I have to say it lives up to the five stars. I use it to travel to and from the light rail line to get to work. It does get some attention and has a lot of people asking where they can get one. It’s so fun and I always look forward to going to work now. Without the seat, it folds up nicely in my cube at work.

The battery last me about 16-17 miles (215 pounds) and I only have to charge it once a week. I can go about 27mph and down small hills it goes 35mph (measured by iPhone app). Now that I have it and the light rail line, I’ve been able to get rid of the second car. I love not having to pay for and maintain a car anymore! I’ve seen other electric scooters on the rail line, and none of them come close to this beast.

I have to say that I have been looking for a good toy and scooter like this for many months. I did a lot of reseacrch on this Super Turbo 800w Elite before I purchased it. I went to their website and looked at the videos they have and it helped my decision greatly.

When I first opened the box, it was very well packages and secure. It does weigh 95lbs so it was a little trickly getting out of the box for me. The instructions are very easy to follow to assemble it. Took me 15 mintues to assemble only because I was slow.

Once assemble I turn on and was impressed that the battery actual had a good charge. I did buy a flashing red light to put on the back because I think it is a good idea to have one especially at night. I started up the scooter and took it for a spin and I was impressed at how fast it was…and then I hit the Red boost button. This is like hit nitrous in a car. The scooter immediately went much faster. I tried going up small hills in the neigborhood and this scooter took it like a champion. It does go 25mph for me but then again I am 170lbs and 5″6′. I love way it handles. It is constructed very well and the shocks are very good. Not to be used like a dirt bike though.

All in all if your looking for a good scooter with nice pick up and go then look no further. This scooter is the one you have been looking for at a good price and even better for being electric. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new toy, camping, joy ride, or even run errands to and from the store. I use mine to go to and from the gym. I recommend a helmet as well if you are riding in the city, due to the high speed it has. I hope you enjoy the scooter if you decided to purchase it.

We bought this scooter last Christmas for our (then) 8 year old son. We didn’t want him to be able to go too fast, but he was becoming prficient enough at scooters and bikes that we felt comfotable with hime riding this. He was able to ride easily within minutes, and has enjoyed this weekly for nearly a year. Our (then) 5 year old daughter gave it a try, and was also able to easily ride it within an hour. We subsequently bought a pink one for her

Battery Life-
with a standard charge time (overnight or about 12 hours) both scooters can get about a weeks worth of run time on asphalt (about 8 hours). The children riding them are about 85 pounds and about 50 pounds. I can ride for about 30 minutes (at about 150 pounds)

Size reestrictions-
Both children can ride at fast but safe speeds. Our neighborhood was very hilly, and they were not noticably affected by hills. I ran the dog a number of times through the neighborhood and was able to keep up the equivilent of a light jog for about 2 miles, though I did need a little foot power to get up the steeper hills. (btw, not San Francisco steep, just steep enough to provide a good workout).

Off roading-
We recently moved to a rural area, and I was worried that the scooters would make their way to Craigslist. Not the case, both children are able to ride through our fields. It has reduced speed and battery life, but not by much. The tires are still holding up well. I can not reasonibly ride them on grass, but can ride them on a gravel road.

Overall, these are a great value for kids that like being outside and feeling the wind in their hair. They hold up well and still look great after a year.

The Razor E100 2006 version is a new and improved electric scooter. Powerful fun at speeds up to 10 mph. Up to 40 minutes of continuous use after one charge. New chain driven motor and new twist-grip throttle.

This motor scooter is a really great product. It says it goes 15 mph, but if you weigh less than about 75 pounds, it goes like 20 mph. I usually just charge my motor scooter overnight and then unplug it in the morning and start riding it. This motor scooter can go for a reeeeeally long time, which is great, because I usually ride it EVERYWHERE. It has great brakes, which is really good, because I live on a big hill, and if you are wondering if it can go uphill, it can go reeeeeeeally fast uphill for me, but I’m only 50 pounds. It can go uphill if you’re about 80 pounds or lower. At first, my mom wasn’t. Too sure of the idea of me getting an electric scooter, but I was paying for it with my own money, so I guess she couldn’t really say no. But, as soon as I got it, my mom has actually been loving it! She loves it because she is always needing eggs, or milk, or something like that, and when she needs One of those things, she can just give me money and say, “go get me some eggs from 7-eleven on your motor scooter”. And then I am back within fifteen minutes, no joke. And the 7-eleven is exactly a mile from our house! And also, riding to 7-eleven is also fun for me! First of all, it’s just really fun riding the motor scooter, and second of all, sometimes my mom let’s me get a candy bar or something with the leftover money. Oh, and one more thing, it says the motor scooter can go up to 8 miles per charge, (it charges for 12 hours) but for me, it can go like 10-12 miles per charge! Anyway, if you are thinking about getting this product, but you’re not sure if you want to get it or not, you DEFINITELY should get it. I recommend this product to everyone!
